Our professional users of rechargeable batteries can opt for the no-compromises, top speed DIGISPEED 4 ULTRA charger from ANSMANN. When charging high capacity NiMH batteries, such as the included four 2600mAh cells, it applies a whopping 4300mAh charge current. Most chargers switch to a lower power 'trickle charge' after a burst of high power charging. The DigiSpeed 4 ULTRA however uses thermal management (including a fan to cool the batteries while charging) to permit it to operate at full power for the entire charging process.
The included 2600mAh batteries are fully charged in about 40 minutes. Professional users will appreciate the many other features of the charger, including independent micropocessor control of the charging process for each of the four bays, a 100V-240V AC mains adapter, flexibility to charge any number from 1-4 cells, bad cell detection, automatic start of the charge process once a battery is inserted, and the application of maintenance charge for fully charged batteries to ensure you get maximum use of your batteries when you need them.
