Customer feedback now available online (Friday, March 28, 2008)All along, we've known that our customers are a fantastic bunch, and we've always appreciated how many take the time to tell us about their experience in using our service. On many occasions, a customer has literally "made our day" with the feedback they sent us. Of course we aren't perfect, and we've also tweaked several aspects of how we operate based on constructive suggestions. After a drawn out debate about the merits of doing so, we've now decided to publish all feedback we receive. We hope that our existing and potential future customers can now form an even better picture of how we operate by looking at our recent customer feedback. |

CWU strike affects deliveries - but not from us! (Wednesday, October 3, 2007)The CWU (a union) has decided to disrupt Royal Mail services by calling for a strike starting Thursday 04/10/07 at noon. The action is timed and structured such that UK postal services are likely to be (in effect) unavailable for about a week. For details, please visit a recently vanished page on www.royalmail.com. Because most of our customer's orders are normally sent by Royal Mail, this presents a formidable challenge. Our customers are however used to high levels of service from us. Living up to our commitment, we have decided to continue offering all products and services (except Royal Mail as a delivery method). We are processing orders (as always), our "same-day dispatch if ordered by 4pm" guarantee is in effect (as always), and we are dispatching orders using the best available service (as always). To you, the most visible change is that your order will be sent by another carrier than Royal Mail, and that you are more likely to have to sign for your order. Also, because many items up-and-down the country which would normally be sent by Royal Mail will be redirected via other carriers, everything is likely to take longer in transit - even when sent by timed courier. |
