This kit includes: an internal replacement battery for the 3rd generation Apple iPod basic instructions on how to install the battery four plastic lever tools Installing the battery requires that you disassemble the iPod (probably voiding any warranty you may have). The 3rd generation iPod's case is snapped together during assembly, and the included tools will help you lever open the iPod's outer shell. But that shouldn't be a problem, because you should only attempt installing this battery if you perform this type of project/repair on a regular basis, and you will thus know the risks. Unless you have the required skills, you will damage your iPod, and we will not replace it.
