Individual Battery Details (C/R14 NiMH Rechargeable Battery)
NiMH rechargeable batteries are rated at 1.2V, which is lower than the 1.5V of alkaline batteries. If you're looking to replace single use alkaline batteries with rechargeable batteries, this difference may become important. In our experience, applications that use one or two cells will be fine. Applications which use more cells tend to be more problematic. For example, many DAB digital radios use six size C batteries; we have found that size C NiMH rechargeable batteries will not work in DAB radios.
