Four AAA-size NiMH batteries, each rated at a capacity of 950mAh are powerful enough to deliver plenty of music from compatible MP3 players. The USB charger is compact enough to go along where-ever you take your MP3 player, at just 8.5cm length, and a width/height of little more than a pair of AAA batteries. The limits of how much power can be drawn from a USB port mean that the charge current is a gentle 110mA, enough to charge one of the included batteries in about 10 hours. You need to unplug the charger to stop the charging process, and it is designed for AAA NiMH batteries only.
