Size D / LR20 Batteries

D type batteries are the largest pre-charged batteries commonly available. They are used when both endurance and lots of power are required, such as for large portable CD/Cassette players, torches or equipment with electric motors.

What type of D battery are you looking for?

Alkaline D/LR20 Batteries - Alkaline D batteries are the only real choice for demanding applications such as digital radios and portable CD payers.

Zinc Carbon D/R20 Batteries - Zinc D batteries are cheaper than alkaline D cells but can only be used in low drain applications..

Rechargeable D Batteries - For heavy users of D cells a rechargeable battery is a powerful and economical choice. The best rechargeable D type batteries last up to 1000 recharge cycles, and work out significantly cheaper than a similar number of pre-charged batteries.
