RA104589 AA to D Convertor Pack of 2
What a brilliant idea! Use your AA batteries in equipment that takes size "D" batteries. Just slip one of these sleeves over the battery, and your AA battery fits a size D bay. The convertor works with AA batteries using any technology, whether pre-charged or rechargeable. But for rechargeable batteries, they mean you can take a completely new approach. Rather than keep rechargeable batteries in several sizes, you can standardise on AA batteries, and one of the fast chargers for AA batteries. You can still power your size D applications, but save the more expensive charger, and batteries in an extra size. The convertor obviously doesn't increase the capacity of your AA batteries, so you may still need real size D batteries in some cases. More detail...
