2CR5 batteries can also be called photo Lithium batteries. Lithium 2CR5 batteries are much more powerful than a standard alkaline battery which makes them ideal for applications where maximum power is desired like in digital cameras. 2CR5 batteries operate at 6V, have both terminals on a single end and are shaped so that the battery can only be inserted one way round.
